Three Things...

1) Grade Step Up's basic premise is that every child is unique and must be approached with an understanding that once their learning style is understood, then a plan of action can be designed that maximizes student learning biases.

2) Using this as a platform for then helping students identify their areas of weakness, we can then seek to apply tried techniques with appropriate learning aids to bridge the knowledge gaps which students may have.

3) The next step is not novel by any means, but is based on a principle that is key to all learning, that of application. Students build confidence as they apply the information and use it to solve problems, thus building their confidence and removing the false fear of tests.

Students and parents have been pleased to see how these approaches lead to success even after only a few sessions. Students are encouraged to empower themselves with utilization of these techniques so that they welcome the challenge of learning and are not overwhelmed by it.
